Giclée Print - Persian Lily
This is an archival print of an original acrylic painting.
From my favorite neighborhood gem, the Heather Garden at Fort Tryon Park. The bell-like flowers are Persian lily (Fritillaria persica), native to southeastern Turkey, western Iran, southern Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. The little bluish flowers scattered about are grape hyacinth (genus Muscari, with over 40 different species) and are originally from southeastern Europe, but have naturalized in the eastern United States.
